Surrey Heritage is currently preparing
an HLF grant application to use the commemoration of the centenary of World
War One as an opportunity to highlight the archive and the cultural legacy
of author and playwright, RC Sherriff, in particular his iconic play Journey's
End.
The project will require the production
of a professionally created online learning resource, using materials in
the archive, to enable schools to study and understand Sherriff's legacy
and the place of Journey's End' in the literature of the Great War.
We would be looking for a freelance educational consultant, with experience
of the learning requirements of schools and the national curriculum, to
create a resource of around 20 pages, using between 20-40 documents, and
incorporating other media (sound and/or AV) created by the project.
Can anyone recommend an educational
consultant who may have undertaken this kind of work please? We have already
spoken to The National Archives.
