Hi Karen, I'm not sure what happens to our meters and whether they are calibrated by an external provider but if they aren't we will start to offer calibration service by the lab if possible. We ensure that users are properly trained, SOPs in place, clear clinical care pathway, records of devices and where they are placed upheld and also records of calibration. We bring the meters back to the lab for 6 monthly calibration. Hope this helps!
