We have 2 online courses coming shortly and have a few places left on both.
Extending your learning environment - 12 June - 12 July 2013
This course is designed for teachers and trainers from all education sectors and all disciplines who are interested in exploring the ideas and potential for learning beyond the hype around for example Web 2.0, the net generation and social software. It will be of most interest to staff that intend to or already make use of online learning environments and interactive discussions.
Teaching your online course - 26 June - 26 July 2013
This course on online tutoring has been updated to give the opportunity to work not only within the Brookes Virtual online learning environment but also begin to explore the potential of using publicly available online social spaces eg ‘Web 2.0’ applications such as blogs and wikis for facilitation of online learning activities.
There is really no other way to learn the skills required of the online tutor other than in the online environment. This course is highly participative and is designed around frequent opportunities for participants to practise and receive feedback on their developing skills as an online tutor.
Each course costs £345 and lasts for 4.5 weeks.
