Personal Assistant to Head of Diet and Population Health

Overall purpose:
To provide high-level administrative support across the Department of Diet and Population Health. To act as Personal Assistant to the Head of Department; facilitate and support their workload so as to best ensure their maximum efficiency. You will also provide administrative support for other senior managers within the department as required and will be the secretariat for Department Business Meetings
You will provide the first point of contact for all external enquiries for the Head of Department and the communications team acting as the unit press officer, and will be involved in assisting with the co-ordination and implementation of HNR’s external and internal activities and events.
You will be expected to undertake some unit-wide responsibilities including co-ordination and management of unit wide projects. You will also be expected to provide cover for both reception and the library when required.
