Travel is slightly different the employee is only asked to make their normal contribution,

i.e. what it would have cost them to get to work anyway (this is taken as public transport rate if no data).

Hi, I have had ATW request contribution from employee toward travel costs in the past.

My understanding is that the employer pays initial £300 to £1000 (depending on size of company) and ATW pay the rest. I have never come across a situation where the employee has to pay anything! Nor should they have to!!!

Anyon else encountered this (I haven't)

Have a lady , deaf, vey positive asked for adaptions to her office and meeting rooms so she can hear better- A2W suggest mike blue tooth and compatible hearing aid. My employee has to pay 2/7th cost= £1700- the employer pays more.(she can not afford this so isn't)I did not think the employee had to pay as surely that is further discrimination? Anyone point me in the right direction?

Jane
