You will be expected to have a strong commitment to teaching excellence and to demonstrate a potential to achieve international research excellence in Journalism Studies or a related field through a range of scholarly activity which will include high-quality research publications and the pursuit of funding opportunities. You will have a PhD, or be near completion of a PhD, in a relevant subject area with proven teaching ability in the field of journalism studies or a related discipline. This post is available from September 2013. The appointment may be subject to an initial probationary period, dependent upon experience.
