The Department of Film and Television Studies at the University of Warwick is seeking to appoint an Assistant Professor (£37,382 - £44,607 pa) The post holder will carry out undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, research activities and administrative duties for the Department. They will contribute to its reputation as a world leading centre for research and teaching in Film and Television Studies. Candidates must have an honours degree and a PhD, or equivalent, in a relevant discipline and experience of undergraduate teaching. They must also have a clear research agenda and an emerging record for producing world class publications. We especially welcome candidates with specialisms in contemporary and/or classical Hollywood Cinema, with interests in textual analysis, historiography, and/or genre.
