Please use the link below to read a new article published on the 'Infinite Earths' website about 'Star Trek Into Darkness'. Many thanks to Henry Jenkins for allowing his comments to be used in this piece. 'Star Trek: The Wrath of Fan' straddles the fence between academia and fandom - sometimes crossing over into blatant fan expression - and it would be great to begin a discussion around this most disrespectful slice of Trek history. Thanks to Dan Hassler-Forest and Henry Jenkins for posting comments to get the ball rolling.
Coming in the next few days we have a piece by Laura Mee from University of De Mountfort on the remake of 'The Evil Dead'; and Bethan Jones from Aberstwyth University writes about her personal experiences, her fandom and Neil Gaiman's seminal - and sublime - 'Sandman' series.
Thanks for taking the time to read this. As always, new proposals are invited and encouraged on any aspect of popular culture.
