Hi David,

We have not rolled this out in Cambridgeshire.  I don't see how you could ever police it.  The print out is the customers' information and potentially sensitive.  Further to that I think that we should be working towards automated print payment which will make it even harder to determine what the print job contains and to apply a discount.

In general I don't like the thought of staff being asked to look at a customers printout and decide if it qualifies for an exemption.

In Coventry we have increased our free access to computers from 1 hour to two hours, but are now being asked to explore the granting of concessions on prints for welfare reform users.  Have any other Services been asked to look at this and if so do you have a recommended methogology?
