I have been informed by my contact at Wiley that Eduserve have found the fault and have fixed it.  This relates to the Internal Server Error which has been occurring after logging in with Athens on the Wiley site.

Dear All,

 

Eduserv Athens have released a workaround URL for all subscribers to Wiley online content.

Use the URL below to access the main Wiley site via Athens username/password, and then enter the *exact * title of the journal in the main site search box – it will not retrieve on keywords. Thanks to Hayley Bowring at Eduserv Athens for this workaround. Here is her message:

 

“Wiley are currently unable to authenticate users via the OpenAthens Federation. We are working with them to help resolve this access issue. 

 

As a workaround in the meantime it should be possible for your users to login to this resource using the following URL”

Please pass this on to all who are experiencing problems accessing Wiley content based on their site (ie. not content owned by Wiley but distributed via EBSCO, etc.)
