Dear All,

The Scottish Library and Information Council (SLIC) is currently looking to recruit a Digital Project Officer who will work collaboratively between our stakeholders and the Scottish Government Digital Participation Team to help support, develop and deliver digital projects as part of Scotland's Digital Future, our national digital strategy. Scotland's ability to achieve its digital ambitions depends on the skills of its people, and this role will focus on improving access to technology for all of our citizens.

This is a dynamic role, and one that requires someone to effectively engage and build strong networks across a diverse stakeholder group, which includes signatories to the Digital Participation Charter as well as the public and third sector. The successful candidate will have genuine enthusiasm, passion and excellent communication skills, with a natural flair for problem solving and conflict management. They must also be degree educated (Social Science, Information Science or Business Management degree desirable).

The post is initially for two years and may be offered on a secondment basis.

For more information, and to apply, please see http://www.s1jobs.com/job/486206275.html.

Best wishes,

Gillian Hanlon, SLIC
