Hi, We're currently reviewing our newspaper collection in the Library. We take the 5 'broadsheet' (not so broad anymore) dailies and keep them all on a rolling 6 months, other than the Financial Times which is kept for a year. However, it is felt that back issues other than the current week are not used, especially as we have a subscription to Lexis Newspapers, and the availability of other online news services. Do other Academic Libraries still take daily newspapers and, if so, how long are back issues kept for? I can summarise replies for the list. Thanks, Kathryn Kathryn Hart Resource Acquisition Team Information Management Brynmor Jones Library University of Hull Cottingham Road Hull
