We are looking to recruit 2 full-time Customer Services Information Assistants (link takes you to RCN Website for further information)
In this newly created role you will deliver excellent customer service on a roving model supporting customers with their enquiries within the Library & Heritage Centre and remotely using telephone, email, webchat etc. You will be working to ensure the smooth running of all activities including RFID self-issue, retail services, exhibitions, seminars, as well as activities in the Nursing History Collection. You will also provide lending and document delivery services, interlibrary and postal loans.
You will have the ability to find, use, manage and evaluate information, recent experience of a customer service environment and of dealing with enquiries e.g. in a library, bookshop etc. You will demonstrate a willingness to adapt to new ways of working and the ability to respond quickly to requests for information.
Regular Saturday and evening work (until 7pm) will be required.
