Evidence-informed quality improvement programme (EQUIP)

Calls for expressions of interest are now open for the EQUIP (Evidence-informed quality improvement programme) one-year change programme.

The EQUIP programme helps higher education providers develop an evidence-informed approach to quality enhancement at departmental, faculty or institutional level. It is designed to help HEIs identify and resolve the key issues affecting the quality of the student learning experience.

Teams engage in a range of activities in which they examine and interpret internal and external data on the experiences of their students and also share their experiences and expertise with other participants. Expert support is provided on a year-round basis through a nominated key contact at the HEA.

Institutions such as The Open University and Newcastle University took part in the programme which ran 2010-11. You can view profiles and case studies from participating institutions here.

The call closes on 28 June 2013 and applicants will be notified of outcomes in mid-July. The programme will run from September 2013 to September 2014.

You can find further information and download a proposal form here. For any queries about EQUIP, please contact [log in to unmask]
