Not sure if this is the appropriate place to ask as this is a newbie question.

I'm interested in using qualified dublin core to better describe some data in an xml format (via oai)

When I look at: http://dublincore.org/documents/dcmi-terms/, I can see that there are these things called "classes".

It's not clear if it's at all possibly to use them or how they are to be used.

Are they rdfs:Class classes?

Does it make any sense to use these in qualified dc xml in any way when using dcterms to describe something.
