Good Morning, We are looking at changing our policy regarding notification for elected members and I wondered if other list members would be happy to share their approach? Does your organisation pay for all elected members to be registered with the ICO or do you only register those members who, due to the way they process personal data, are legally required to notify? Or do you leave it members to sort out notification themselves? Thank you in advance for your assistance. Kind regards, Amy Jaines - Information Governance Officer Information Management East Lindsey District Council, Room 158, Tedder Hall, Manby Park, Manby Louth, Lincolnshire, LN11 8UP Tel: 01507 613409 ext. 3409 E: [log in to unmask] <mailto:[log in to unmask]> Website: www.e-lindsey.gov.uk <http://www.e-lindsey.gov.uk/> Facebook: www.e-lindsey.gov.uk/facebook Twitter: www.e-lindsey.gov.uk/twitter 'Lincolnshire's Coastal District' ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ All archives of messages are stored permanently and are available to the world wide web community at large at http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/lists/data-protection.html If you wish to leave this list please send the command leave data-protection to [log in to unmask] All user commands can be found at http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/help/commandref.htm Any queries about sending or receiving messages please send to the list owner [log in to unmask] Full help Desk - please email [log in to unmask] describing your needs To receive these emails in HTML format send the command: SET data-protection HTML to [log in to unmask] (all commands go to [log in to unmask] not the list please) ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
