The First International Conference of Dalcroze Studies Coventry University UK, 24-26 July 2013 This event is part of the centenary celebrations of the London School of Dalcroze Eurhythmics. It will extend our understanding of Dalcroze Eurhythmics – and the relationships between music and movement more generally – from practice-based, pedagogical, phenomenological, empirical, neuro-scientific, philosophical, theoretical and historical perspectives. Connections to music performance, composition and therapy, as well as theatre, dance and the visual arts will be addressed by a wide variety of practitioners and researchers from all over the world.
