Hi Victoria I made a system wide announcement linking to a quick animation I made in Camtasia showing how to toggle the mode on and off and keep it on the front page of Blackboard: "If you enter a course and can only see announcements and no course menu it may be that you need to toggle the "widescreen" view. This animation shows you how: http://bit.ly/orUZFj" Bit.ly tells me we've had 2,529 clicks on that link since the start of the academic year. We still get the odd support call about it but not that many. I'm very much looking forward to upgrading to a SP10 or higher where this setting is forgotten after a user logs out. Our users often inadvertently minimise the course menu and think that they’ve lost all their course content. Has anyone else had enquiries from staff or students about this feature? We have created a help guide about it, but we still get a large number of questions from new users. If it is an issue at your institution, what approach have you taken to minimise the issue?
