Title: SAS Programmer/Analyst - Level II, Senior and Above

Location: Home Based, UK or Office Based, UK (Multiple Locations)

 

For a leading international pharmaceutical services company, SEC Pharma is currently recruiting for a number of experienced SAS Programmers to be either home based or office based (multiple locations) in UK.

Duration: Full-time Permanent

 

Responsibilities: 

 

-         The Programmer Analyst serves as a programmer on selected multiple projects, and coordinating all programming aspects of the project.

-         Contribute to the leadership of project teams as assigned by Biostatistics Management

-        Time management of own and team\'s time spent on projects, ensuring deadlines are accomplished, with the delivery of high quality work

-        Where applicable, provide the Project Manager, Biostatistics department, and company management with timely, accurate status and resourcing reports

-        Interact with the project team leaders and sponsor on programming aspects of the project and present at meetings, as required, and communication actively and frequently with other team members as needed

-        Ensure projects are well documented and consistent with company SOPs and working procedures

-        Produce statistical appendices with appropriate documentation

-        Oversee the Quality Review of the statistical reporting of selected projects

 

Qualifications

 

-        BSc degree in statistics, computer science or related field is desirable. However also acceptable is a non-graduate qualification in combination with good relevant proven industry and SAS programming experience in a clinical trial environment

-        Understanding of database structures and working with complex data structures

-        A minimum of 2-3 years of SAS Programming experience within clinical trials area; in EU/US would be ideal.
