Dear Colleague

APOLOGIES FOR CROSS POSTING - THIS MAY COME TO YOU FROM MORE THAN ONE SOURCE PLEASE ONLY COMPLETE THE QUESTIONNAIRE ONCE.

We are attaching a link to a short consultation questionnaire (10 questions) to get your views on a proposal for a new Race Equality Coalition. We wish to ensure that for as long as race discrimination or disadvantage exists there is a movement which challenges it, at every level. It seeks new approaches to influence government policy and on the ground practice. We believe when we pool our expertise, skills and thinking we are stronger.

The Coalition currently has 18 members and we would like to see if we can expand the membership and develop our thinking on aims, values, structure, membership and impact.

We are particularly targeting (at this stage) regional, city wide or umbrella organisations so if your organisation is one of these we would be very grateful if you can complete the questionnaire.

Please complete the questionnaire asap and in any case by the 7th June 2013.

With best wishes and thanks from the Race Equality Coalition
