As you are aware, Lab Tests Online is a non-commercial website designed to provide patients and their carers with accurate information on laboratory medicine tests in the
NHS - when they are required and what the results mean. Launched in 2004 we now receive almost 150,000 unique visitors a month.
It is presently financially supported by the ACB, IBMS and RCPath. having received start up funding from Dept of Health.
Although patients are our primary audience, we are aware that a large proportion of our visitors are healthcare professionals.
We, the LTO UK Board, are delighted to announce that there is now the LTO App available, and is
free to down load for both iphones and android phones.

We are the third country to launch the App, the first being the US early last year and second being Australia in November 2012
