Hi Clare,
We have an IL GEM 4000 in our CDS and the sample failure rate is around 20%, compared with AE and ICU , where the rate is between 0-5%. We put this down to the nature of samples going into
the device (e.g fetal scalp samples). I don’t have any data on time taken to rectify these failures as this is all run automatically through the IQM , which will correct a problem if there is one.
