Hi Olivier,

It’s an « Os basibranchiale rostrale et caudale » (or sometimes called “Basihyale” and Urohyale”) of a large Anseriformes (e.g. Goose, Swan, etc.).

Daer colleagues, we found in medieval latrines in Strasbourg (Alsace, France) a lot a fishes bones and birds bones. I have a problem with an identification (photo on main page at zoobook). Any idea with this bone ? Many thanks in advance, Olivier.
