"ProEMA: on-line moderation of evidenced linked teacher assessment of student work"

This webinar will introduce the proEMA on-line moderation system which represents an intersection between new technological possibilities for assessment and emerging theoretical understandings about teachers' assessment. The proEMA moderation system combines marking and moderation and provides instant feedback about grade level agreement and evidence selections linked to grades. The moderation system is supported by a suite of related assessment tools including an assessment design process, discussion lists and a wiki for collecting and sorting assessment related resources. One of the key drivers in developing these systems has been to resource and research teachers' assessments so that they more fully assume their role in truly transforming assessment.
