Departmental Lectureship in Public Policy and Management

Applications are invited for a fixed-term two-year Departmental Lectureship in Public Policy and Management.  The post is available from 01 September 2013 or as soon as possible thereafter.

You will co-ordinate the Practical Skills modules on the Master of Public Policy degree and the Policy Skills workshops. You will also teach an option module on an aspect of public management, supervise MPP students, mark student assignments, undertake administrative duties within the School, and engage in research and publication in public policy and management. You may also be required to contribute to the School’s executive education programme for senior policymakers and practitioners.

You will hold a doctorate in a relevant field and research expertise in public policy and management. You will have a demonstrable commitment to public policy teaching and research and demonstrable ability to contribute to curriculum development and to teach, supervise and assess high-achieving and challenging graduate students from around the world in a multi-disciplinary environment. In addition you will have a track record of internationally excellent publications.
