DJs puts a new spin on 175 years of history with finds from archivist's
wonderland
Nothing is lost to history at David Jones. In the bowels of its Silverwater
warehouse, heavy padlocks guard rooms where boxes and filing cabinets brim
with artefacts. Dubbed ''Barbara's Wonderland'', the storage facility fell
under the authority of a slight, bespectacled librarian by the name of
Barbara Horton, who was responsible for documenting the department store's
every move in her 35-year role as the DJs archivist.
