Hi Carr,

I use the Oscilla USB audiometer, it plugs into the laptop i'm using and holds a database of client info (it is literally just the the audiocups attached to a usb lead so the logistics of carrying it around are minimal.) It's attenuated for use upto 40db so I always insist on a quiet room to carry out the tests and do a simple volume tests in the room before i start (calibrated dose meter).

Hope that helps,

G

Hi all

Do any of the independent practitioners offer  audiometry services and if so how do you manage the logistics regarding equipment etc? Does the customer have it? Do you have portable kit?

With thanks

Carr
