This sounds like a very interesting topic and therefore wondered if some replies could be on Jisc?

If you can find any nurses that have done work for the Foreign Office or International SOS who use to have the contract for the FCO, they would have had the same issues.

To save me re-inventing the wheel, and replies to [log in to unmask] please to save clogging up Jisc. (I am being optimistic about the amount of replies.....Emoji)

A client has asked that I reevaluate their current procedures from an OH perspective with regards to sending employees overseas on short or longer term trips.

They use a risk assessment approach, which OH play a part in. As the employees may be required in far flung and remote destinations (eg oil fields and the like) any health conditions may have an impact on the feasibility (and expense) of the trip. The employer wants to be reassured that health conditions can be managed adequately overseas. eg is the required medication available/legal within the destination country, does the individual have a condition that may impact on their ability to evacuate in the case of major incident etc, are medical facilities at the destination comparable to the EU, or would any exacerbation of an existing condition mean repatriation.  We have already done a fair amount of work on this, have a lot of background info and resources we can tap into.

So what I`m asking is - I`m fairly sure where we need to be but wondered if anyone does similar work eg sending Doctors to third world countries, oil workers,  and whether you would mind sharing any template documentation you use so I can use these as a comparator ?

Thanks in advance!
