medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture Dear Eliana,

Thank you for sharing this with us! If you wish to know who purchased a particular item at auction, you should contact the auction house (in this case, Christie's) and ask there. They will tell you if they have permission to tell you who bought it or not. Sometimes they will ask if you mind that they pass your details to the new owner, who may or may not decide to enter into contact with you as s/he may wish.

Best wishes, George

Dear Colleagues

Two manuscripts from Lacock Abbey  in Wiltshire, England, were sold by Christie in London.

The Latin manuscript was bought by the National Trust and is now on display at Lacock Abbey.

I would be grateful for suggestion as to how one may one find out who bought and where is the other manuscript, written in vernacular verse?

Thank you.

Eliana
