Dear All, The European Geosciences Union is calling for nominations for its medals and awards. These include the Arthur Holmes medal for exceptional international standing in solid Earth geosciences, and division medals for each of the EGU's divisions, for instance the Beno Gutenberg medal for seismology and the Louis Neel medal for earth magnetism and rock physics. There are separate awards for "Outstanding Young Scientist" (aged 35 or younger, and have received their highest degree award within the last seven years - both of these subject to some allowance for parental leave).
