I also recently experienced this in current Neurodebian fsl and mricron. fslview crashes when trying to load mricron's /usr/share/mricron/lut/actc.lut (which I uploaded here: http://goo.gl/lZMiK ).

I have a remote memory that some sort of conversion is required but I didn't find anything in my notes.
