Dear Friends and Colleagues,

As we near completion of version 1.0 of the Arches cultural heritage inventory and management system, we would like to offer you or your organization the opportunity to participate in a workshop designed to familiarize members of the heritage community with Arches.

We are looking for participants from organizations with an interest in adopting Arches, and we welcome participants who would like to review the software.

The workshop will offer an extensive demonstration of Arches and guidance for deployment at an institutional scale. Topics will include a summary of the Arches software architecture, system deployment and configuration options, as well as legacy data extraction, transformation, and import. Additional topics will depend on participant interest. The workshop will be conducted in English.

The workshop will take place near London, England, during June 5-7, 2013.

As space is limited, please respond to [log in to unmask] by April 22, 2013, and please indicate your level of interest in Arches. Limited support for attendance may be available.

Regional workshops on Arches are currently being planned and will be offered in 2013-2014.
