We do exactly the same. We have 2 candidates this year and for one the other college is accompanying them here and for the other we are sending a member of staff there to collect them and bring them here for their exams.

Hi Elaine

We have had this a few times and were not able to do a transfer of the paper as the board refused it as not a legitimate reason.

What we did is arrange for a member of staff to go to the other centre to either pick up or take the candidate by taxi. This way they are supervised fully.

We charge tell the student that they will be responsible for paying the taxi fare both there and back and this appears to work okay.

Hi all

What are the options (if any) for an exam candidate who has exams with two centres (us and a school across town) that fall on the same exam session? I’m thinking paper moves if altogether they don’t exceed three hours per session but not sure – what do you think?
