Two events in Dublin this week

Spatial Justice in Ireland
There are two events organised by the Royal Irish Academy and the Geographical Society of Ireland. Both events are at the RIA in Dawson street, Dublin.

The first is on Monday 22 April at 6pm and is free to all, with a wine reception to follow.
Danny Dorling, is to speak on Spatial Justice, Housing and the Financial Crisis. Danny is probably the most prominent public voice of human geography in the UK. He is the author of many books on the geography of inequality, including Unequal `health`; the scandal of our times, The no-nonsense guide to equality, and Bankrupt Britain`; An atlas of social change. The event is free but you do need to register as spaces are limited

The second is on Tuesday 23 April and is a one-day conference at the RIA on Spatial Justice and the Irish Crisis. It features talks on issues such as poverty, housing, migration, health etc. This conference is free to members of the Geographical Society of Ireland (email [log in to unmask]), for other waged it is €10, for other students or unwaged it is €5.
