Hi all,

I have asked AMEG people on this list to lay off on geoengineering, as
Mark requested. I hope we have not so irritated others on this list,
that you don't want any postings from any of us on any subject! People
should only be thrown off the list if they disregard clear guidelines.

I have read Jon's warning, but I don't think it is necessary for the
list to die, and, personally, I value the list. In particular, I see
the list as serving a useful purpose for discussions of a wide variety
of crises - monopolisation on any one of which would be unfortunate.
Is that what others think?

Cheers,

John
