Marketing Coordinator
Provides marketing support for a Business Unit through the delivery
of a variety of business services.
Responsibilities:
Serves as a primary contact for one or multiple products and
co-ordinates on-going processes for the brand:
Support the Product Manager to plan and co-ordinate UK
and International meeting & congress
Financial administration – product, promo related, DOE
tracking and raising POs and e-payments
Process promotional & non-promotional material job bags
according to ABPI code and Amgen SOP
Manage supplies of promotional materials to meet the
needs of campaign plans, customer needs and Sales
Team requirements including storage, tracking & recalls
Update promotional materials using internal software as
well as liaise with external agencies to update and amend
materials
Provide general support to the Product Managers
Any additional projects in the interest of the team
Authority:
• Determines processes and approaches to completing assignments
• Ensures internal service standards are met when coordinating work across
• Ensures compliance to codes and Amgen SOPs
Outputs:
Printing and Distribution of materials on time
• Use of fully compliant materials by the Business Unit
• Full meeting arrangement for product related meetings
• Organised processes and systems common across Business units
• Provide service for primary product with cover on secondary products
Qualifications:
The knowledge and skills necessary to perform the duties of this position are
typically acquired through the following combination of education, experience and
knowledge or the equivalent.
Minimum Requirements:
• 2-3 years of experience in supporting a marketing team
• Experience of working in pharma/biotech environment
• Use of MS office products to a competent standard
• Awareness of the ABPI code and application
• Candidates should have a minimum of A level qualifications and a marketing
qualification
(degree education and CIM is preferred)
Preferred Requirements:
• Experience in a marketing department
• Basic knowledge of the function/business area supported such as safety, sales, customer service etc.
