I would like to introduce Prof. Tai-Young Kim who was a visitor at our
Centre this past month. He is Professor of Graduate School of Business
(SKK GSB) at Sungkyunkwan University in Seoul, Korea. His main teaching and
research areas are corporate strategy, organization design, social
networks, and sustainability. He is also keenly interested in examining
roles of the arts in institutional and social change towards
sustainability, and the roles of Korean arts supported by corporate
philanthropy. I am sure he will make valuable contributions to our group.

Before he joined the SKK GSB, he had been Assistant Professor of Management
of Organizations at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology
(HKUT), 2000-2004. He was a visiting Scholar at the Massachusetts Institute
of Technology (MIT) Sloan School of Management in 2005. He holds Ph.D. from
Sociology (Organization Theory) at Stanford University. He published
articles at academic journals such as Administrative Science Quarterly,
American Journal of Sociology, Academy of Management Review, Organization
Science, Journal of Economic Geography, and Industrial and Corporate
Change. He received the Best Researcher Award from Korea Academy of
Management in 2006 and the Best Teaching Award in the Indiana Kelley-SKK
EMBA program in 2010.

Could some member please second this nomination, and we welcome him into
this community. Thanks in advance.
