BIG Event Early Bird registration ends on 31 March. Just a few days left!

The BIG Event is a three day conference in July which invites you to share skills and experiences, develop professional links and keep up-to-date with the STEM engagement field. This is the place to hone your skills and recharge your professional batteries, pick up great ideas and show off your talents to peers.

Relevant for designers, presenters, educators, students, front of house staff, evaluators, educationalists, funders, and anyone involved in public engagement with science, technology, engineering and maths. Many people working in the STEM engagement field have little opportunity to cross paths with their peers, so the BIG Event was designed with exactly this in mind.

This year at the BIG Event:

-       Basic tools for STEM communicators: voice work, risk assessment, evaluation, funding

-       Skills to support your presentations: sign language for science, improvisational comedy, new-to-you demo ideas;

-       Interesting twists on tried-and-tested topics: maths with dinosaurs, adults with alcohol, experimenting with opinion;

-       Food for thought: touchy topics, probe your director, grapple with gender bias

And that’s not all. There are all the cracks between the sessions that really make the BIG Event more than the sum of its parts. Find out more at http://big.uk.com/bigevent
