Hi List,

Thank you for posting this article I found it quite informative.

I am one of the sufferers of this condition, and despite taking the medication still experience symptoms over the winter.

If anyone wants to do some research I am willing to participate…….

Regards

Cheryl

We have come across quite a number with vitamin D deficiency over the last year from varying backgrounds

it would be great if someone undertook research on the extent of the problem

I see the department of health is updating their publications on this

Dear Jisc OH,

I have recently had a couple of patients with vitamin D deficiency,

both from Asian backgrounds.

While Gloucester is not the most diverse part of the UK,

I feel I still have a professional role to play in advising and supporting them.

In particular is anyone aware of leaflets / recourses that might be available?

Especially in allowing for the cultural, religious and ethnic considerations of these patients,

and if relevant and specific advice by Gender / Age (e.g. Women & Children).

Many Thanks

Campbell
