Saturday: A Dennis Potter day with talks from scholars and colleagues of Potter. The day will consist of discussions and presentations on the work he produced and the man himself. Tickets: £10. Includes access to the Centre and Potter archive on request. Sunday: Step back in time and celebrate the nostalgia of the 1950's. Take a jive and swing class, listen to fifties music - from the Berry Hill band (appeared in Potter's TV dramas) to traditional Rock n Roll; marvel at classic cars; taste traditional 50’s food; shop at vintage stalls; experience 50’s fashions* or simply sit back and watch a fondly remembered, bygone era come back to life. You can even be one of the first visitors to experience our new Dennis Potter exhibition and audio trail. The Dean Heritage Centre’s Fabulous 50’s Forest Fete - promoting the unique history and heritage of the Forest of Dean.
