I should have checked other e-journal databases as well.  The first one I tried was a ScienceDirect article because ScienceDirect was used in Talis's promotional video and I knew it should work.

I have since tried a few other e-journal publishers and ScienceDirect is the only one that doesn't work so far.

When accessing ScienceDirect via WAM and bookmarking, we get metadata consisting of the same web address repeated as 'title' and 'web address' and nothing else.   Talis is investigating the problem.
