Dear Colleagues,



This years M25 Consortium of Academic Libraries Conference will take place on Tuesday 23rd April 2013 at the Wellcome Conference Centre in London, just a short walking distance from Euston, Kings Cross and surrounding underground stations.  The Conference is very much open and, we hope, of interest to non-M25 Consortium of Academic Libraries members.



The timely theme is The Joy of Sharing: Working Collaboratively in the New Regime and speakers include:



•         John Tuck - Welcome and updates on M25 Projects

•         Geoffrey Browell, Senior Archives Services Manager, Kings College London - AIM25

•         Dr Simon Chaplin, Head of the Wellcome Library - Digitisation programme and the planned redevelopment of the Wellcome Library

•         Stephen Grace, Research Services Librarian, University of East London – Research Data Management

•         Dr Debbie McVitty, Head of Higher Education (Research and Policy), National Union of Students – the student perspective, students and libraries collaborating

•         Doreen Pinfold, Head of Library and Information Services, Falmouth University and University of Exeter Cornwall Campus – Falmouth Exeter Plus

•         Christopher Pressler, Director of Senate House Libraries, University of London – Senate House Libraries and the Bloomsbury Libraries Group: Open Source LMS

•         Dr Jonathan Tedds, Senior Research Fellow, University of Leicester – Research Data and Open Access

•         Neil Wilson, Head of Metadata Services, The British Library – Linked Data



Tours of the Wellcome Collection will be available.



Once again we are pleased to offer one FREE place per M25 member institution (for Director or nominated representative).  Additional places at a nominal fee of £70 for M25 institutions and £90 for other institutions.

Please include your name, job title, email address, any special access requests, any specific dietary requirements, an invoice address and a purchase order (if required by your organisation).
