italian-studies: Scholarly discussions in any field of Italian studies

Dear all,

A new issue of “ReadingItaly”, the Italian Studies Postgraduate Forum (http://readingitaly.wordpress.com<http://readingitaly.wordpress.com/>), is now online.

This number is dedicated to autobiographical writing. The opening article is an interview with Daniela Brighigni, archivist and researcher at the "Archivio Diaristico Nazionale" of Pieve Santo Stefano. Subsequently Andrea Hajek (University of Warwick) provides an insight into the methodologies of oral history in academic research; whereas Gloria Maria Ghioni (University of Sassari) analyses the fascinating topic of the diary writing of Corrado Alvaro. The "critic’s corner" of this issue is dedicated to Franco D’Intino’s book L’autobiografia moderna.

Best wishes,

Stefano Bragato
PhD student, University of Reading
