Folks .. this dynamic PDF from UNESCO is a huge download - about 34 MB - but
has some very good stuff for those of you engaged in climate change
education. Link immediately below but give plenty time if your internet is
slow.

Dear Catherine and Alastair:

I have just found the following link which has the whole 445 page CCESD
program document in one PDF file.

Hope this helps!

Kind regards,

Hello Fumiyo

By all means copy me in, but look . why do you not put it all on a CD or a
stick and post it to Catherine. She will make very good use of it - I can
assure you, having worked with her for several years now. I cannot
understand why UNESCO set this up with such a difficult-to-handle doorway. I
can only imagine that some consultant has set them up with this way of
presenting their materials, and nobody has realised that things have moved
on, and what people need today are simple to download pdf files.

Dear Catherine and Alastair:

Warm greetings!

I have managed to download 12 PDF files (out of 18). After trying a few
times, I still cannot open four files and I have also noticed that UNESCO
has attached wrong files for two. As I have just reported the problems to
them, hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Catherine, shall I send you PDF files which I have downloaded so far via
email? Files are heavy so I need to send them separately. As I don't want
to block your mailbox with these very heavy files, it would be good to send
them when you are online and ready to receive them - Maybe could you please
give me some convenient time slots in next 2,3 days?

Alastair, shall I copy you in when I send the files to Catherine?

Kind regards,

Fumiyo

Thanks David. Catherine is the best way to get your stuff out in Ireland.

Dear Catherine:

Alastair forwarded your note about difficulties in accessing our
just-published climate change materials.

We will see what we can do and get back to you.

Best wishes,

David

Dear David

This is very good that you've produced this through UNESCO. My one question,
is whether the material can also be downloaded in PDF? I find the flip book
on my screen comes out too small for the print both to be readable and easy
to flip through.

That apart, it looks like a beautifully set out and significant set of
materials. By cc of this I will copy your notification of it to Adrian in
the Church of Scotland's climate change unit, Catherine of Ecocongregations
Ireland, and Guillermo at the World Council of Churches. Also to Maria and
Adrian working on a UK climate change programme in Papua, Indonesia, since
it may be useful in their work to have access to UNESCO sanctioned teaching
materials.

All the best

Alastair.
