On Tuesday 7th May 2013, the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Durham University will host a Workshop on "Geometrical Structures in Statistics".

The scope of the workshop comprises shape analysis, spatial modelling, principal graphs, trees, and manifolds, and any other topics which relate to the overall workshop theme.

Extended deadline for submission of contributed presentations:  Monday, 8th of April 2013
Extended deadline for early bird registration: Monday 15th of April 2013

For registrations received by the deadline, the registration fee will be £10 (which includes buffet lunch and coffee), with postgraduate students attending (and lunching) free.  For late registrations (after 15th of April 2013) the registration fee increases to £20 (£10 for postgraduate students).

The talk by Robert Aykroyd (at 16:30) coincides with a meeting of the North-Eastern local group of the Royal Statistical Society. This talk can be attended without attending the full workshop.

We offer two travel bursaries, each of £80, for postgraduate students to attend the workshop. Interested students need to register by the early bird deadline, and send their CV to one of the organizers listed on the workshop webpage.
