You are warmly invited to attend a reception to celebrate the publication of

Londres y el liberalismo hispánico by Iberoamericana / Vervuert with the editors

Dr Daniel Muñoz Sempere (King’s College London) and Dr Gregorio

Alonso (University of Leeds). The book is a collection of essays by both

British and Spanish academics that track the fortunes of those who fled to the

English capital following the return of Ferdinand VII to the throne, and shows

the intellectual vibrancy and occasional eclecticism of this diaspora.
