ACLAIIR (http://aclaiir.org.uk/), the Institute of Germanic & Romance Studies, and the Instituto Cervantes de Londres are organizing a one-day seminar devoted to various key aspects of contemporary fiction from Spain. It is proposed to survey the current scene (embracing Spanish, Catalan, Galician and Basque), trends in academic research in UK, the availability of materials in research libraries, and the impact of translations of fiction into English.
