Dear Peter,

Do you have a photo of it, and which training camp is it from?

Regards,

Roger J C Thomas

Subject: Marker meaning

OK here's today's Friday question:

I've been asked what a marker post at an army training camp might indicate. It is a small ?concrete? slab with a square metal plate bolted to it. It reads

H.B.
4' 6"

Does anyone know? I think it is unlikely to refer to the burial plot of a short person!
