***APOLOGIES FOR CROSS-POSTS*** Dear colleagues, Just a reminder that the call to apply for an HEA Collaborative Teaching Grant closes at noon, this Friday 1 March 2013. Collaborative TDGs are awarded annually to projects that span disciplines, departments or institutions, and that lead to innovative approaches to learning and teaching. Teams are invited to bid for up to £60,000 per project. The main themes for this year (75 per cent of funding) are: · Assessment and feedback; · Flexible learning. 25 per cent of funding will be dedicated to an open call for innovative pedagogic projects in the areas of Education for sustainable development, Employability, Internationalisation, Retention and success, Reward and recognition, Students as partners and Online learning. These projects could build on previous pedagogic work, or they could seek to develop a new area of work entirely.
