HEA STUDENT ADVISORY FORUM – LAST CHANCE TO APPLY
*** APOLOGIES FOR CROSS-POSTS ***
Dear colleagues,
The call for students wishing to apply to join the Higher Education Academy’s new Student Advisory Forum will close on 10 February 2013.
We are looking for 15 national student advisers who will guide us on aspects of our work that directly affect students and suggest ways of working with them. The Student Advisory Forum will advise us on issues in higher education that matter to students such as teaching, the curriculum and how students are assessed.
In turn, the student advisers will gain valuable experience of working with a national organisation to shape our work with universities and colleges to improve the student learning and teaching experience. Their expenses will be paid.
Please pass this message onto students you know who may be eligible* and interested in applying.
To find out more visit: http://www.heacademy.ac.uk/student-advisory-forum.
*The scheme is open to any students who are studying in higher education at undergraduate or postgraduate level, UK (home) or international, part-time, full-time or distance learning, or through college-based higher education, who:
· can demonstrate an active interest in improving teaching, HE and the student experience;
· can assimilate information and experience to advise on our work;
· are able to commit to preparing for and attending three meetings in York over a period of 18 months.
